Our vegetable garden has grown so much that we are now able to make soup for the whole school on a weekly basis! We employ two mothers to make the soup on Tuesdays. They use cabbage, carrots, spinach, onions, cauliflower, and parsley and add soup mix for the most delicious soup.
We are very grateful for the support of the Sustainable Futures Trust, Frans Bruwer, a volunteer whose enthusiasm is contagious; Mercia Groenewald (a parent) with her green fingers, and Errol Coert who is keeping an eye on it all.
